Silver Memories is polling listeners to find out which are the most popular musicals from the 20th Century. You will have until the 22nd of October to submit your favourite musicals of the 20th Century. Once submissions close, Silver Memories will compile the list of musicals in order of popularity.
From Broadway to West End, there are so many musicals which have graced the stage which you can consider. We’ve also been able to enjoy a large number of great musicals at the cinema or at home as they’ve been produced into films. Notably, some films have also been been adapted for the stage to entertain people in theatres around the world.
Silver Memories has a list which you can select from or add to! You will have the option to complete an online form, or download a form to fill in, or contact us directly via the website, phone or email.
In the list we’ve put together, we’ve included some of the most well-known musicals comprising the creative expertise of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber and many more.

Each weekday in November, Silver Memories will count down the Top 20 Musicals selected. Starting on Monday 2 November, we’ll find out which production was the 20th most popular musical as voted by listeners and we’ll enjoy a full hour of music presented by our Silver Memories announcers. Listen every weekday through to Friday 27 November to find out the Number 1 musical. The program will be broadcast at 10am (AEST), 10.30am (ACDT), 11am (AEDT) and at 8am (AWST) throughout November.
